General Information
The 2nd Ear Nose & Throat Department of the National & Kapodistrian University, Athens, Greece was founded in 2003 at the newly built “Attikon” General University Hospital in Chaidari, Athens.
The Department has been fully active since 2007.
Activities of the Department include daily outpatient clinic, and surgery covering all aspects of the specialty of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. Services also include an Audiology Neuro-Otology Laboratory as well as Voice, Head & Neck and Rhinology clinics.
5-year Medical students as well as 4-year Dentistry students are trained in Otorhinolarygology at the Department.
Cochlear Implant program
Since 2008 the Department has been officially certified as a Greek Cochlear Implant Center.
